23/09/2011 Members of the Russian Society of Ophthalmology attend a seminar by Dr. Simo at VHIR 23/09/2011 More than 50 members of the Russian Society of Ophthalmology attended on Thursday September 22 a seminar by Dr. Rafael Simó, head of diabetes and metabolism group of Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) at he conference room of the hospital. The group, formed by the most prestigious Russian eye specialist from the University of St. Petersburg and Moscow, participated in the conference on diabetic retinopathy. The seminar was presented by Dr. Jaume Roigé, representing Vall d'Hebron University Hospital, and Dr. Joan Comella, director of VHIR. At the end of the talk, the Russian visitors visited VHIR facilities, from laboratories to the unity of scientific and technical support.
