Móra d’Ebre calls solidarity, for the third time, for the research in pediatric cancer

The Party de la Clotxa hosted VHIR researchers, neighbours and municipal authorities to disclose and support the research in child cancer.

The association "https://www.facebook.com/matemlobitxo/" Matem lo Bitxo" hosted, on the 18th and 19th of November, the third Party of la Clotxa, at Llanterna Municipal Theatre in Móra d'Ebre, in order to gather budget and disclose information on the newest updates in the research field for childhood cancer.Among other activities, the group of http://en.vhir.org/portal1/grup-equip.asp?t=investigacion-traslacional-en-cancer-en-la-infancia-y-la-adolescencia&s=recerca&contentid=186749 Translational Research in Child and Adolescent Cancer from the Research Institute of Vall d'Hebron, lead by Dr. Sánchez de Toledo, carried out an introductory workshop for the youngest audience of the village. The third edition has also organized a solidarity walk and a picnic, la Clotxa, with the aim on collecting donations to support the research at VHIR in child cancer, reaching this year 5.616,11 euros.This social action gathered the members of "Matem lo Bitxo" and its president Anna Babiloni, the neighbours of Móra d'Ebre, several municipal authorities as the Health Councilor Raúl Oliván, and VHIR' research group members: Aroa Soriano, Marc Massana, Miguel Segura and Josep Sánchez de Toledo.
