Dr. Carmen P. Simeón, from the systemic disorders group at VHIR, led by Dr. Miquel Vilardell, has been awarded with the 6th Dr. Josep Font Prize, for her research article “Registry of the Spanish Network for Systemic Sclerosis: Clinical Pattern According to Cutaneous Subsets and Immunological Status”, published in ‘Seminars in Arthritis & Rheumatism’.In the article, she explained the results of this first multicenter Spanish registry in which 330 patients participated. The registry improved the diagnostic and therapeutic protocols of the disease.
