Nens en moviment' ('Kids moving') program, coordinated by the research group of pediatric endocrinology (directed by Dr. Antonio Carrascosa, also responsible of the pediatric area of Vall Hebron hospital), has been granted with 'Naos' estrategy prize in sanitary area. The prize is granted by Heath Ministry, and encourages projects that have an aim to prevent obesity and other related cronic diseases.'Nens en moviment' program, coordinated by childhood obesity department of the hospital, claims for fisical activity avoiding fisical inactivity, and emphasizes in increasing autosteem and social relations, and fights for normocaloric and equilibrates alimentation, as well as healthy life styles of children and their familiar environment, combining it with cognitive-behavioural therapy.
