Ona Solidària gives 670 € for children's cancer research at the Vall d'hebron Research Institute

The benefits of selling of the book, Ona i el Tururú, written by Sara Millas and Yolanda Blasco, will be donated to the children's cancer research.

Ona solidària is an initiative that Sara Millas and Yolanda Blasco carried out to help families living with childhood cancer. Its short story, Ona i el tururú, is about this disease, written with great care. To make it understandable to children of different ages there are two versions: the original version is in cursive for 6-year-old and above, and the other version is in Roman print and simply written, for children from 3 to 5 years. The illustrations emerged in a contest in which people from around participated.The donation to the Vall d'Hebron Research Institute has been carried out on a visit to the laboratory of the http://en.vhir.org/portal1/grup-presentacio.asp?s=recerca&contentid=186748&idrefer=186749 Group of Translational Research in Child and Adolescent Cancer led by Dr. Josep Sánchez de Toledo, in which Dr. Aroa Soriano, and Dr. Josep Roma and Miquel Segura were explained the research projects in which the donation will be used.Ona i el tururú is the first adventure "Ona", sells at 6 euros and can be found on the Facebook page of Ona Solidaria, where Sara and Yolanda will facilitate access to the same, It is also on sale at the Punt del Llibrea library of Lleida and at the Parking Vilella. The benefits of selling of the book will be donated to the children's cancer research.
