President Mas visits Gallina Blanca and Henufood's project in which participates VHIR

The I+D center of Gallina Blanca Star in Rubí (Barcelona) received on May 29 the visit of the President of Catalonia, Artur Mas, coinciding with the celebration of 75 anniversary of the company, leader in the food sector in Spain.During his tour by the facilities Artur Mas had the opportunity to know closely the projects of development of new products of Gallina Blanca in all the countries where the group is present: Spain, Italy, Holland, Russia and Africa, as well as the evolution of the Henufood project led by Gallina Blanca Star in which participate eight companies linked to the food sector and eleven hospitals and research centers of Spain, one of them Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR).The digestive Phisiology and pathophisiology group of VHIR, led by Dr. Fernando Azpiroz, who was with President Mas during the visit, is developing a research project that aims to demonstrate the ability of foods to improve digestive comfort and pleasurable sensations in the body.
