Dr. Laura Audi, member of the Endicronology Paediatric Unit at Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) gives her views on intersexuality. Years ago, it was assigned one sex to the baby that eventually, could be wrong. Now, thanks to advances in genetic, morphological and hormonal studies, is possible to determine it with greater security and reliability.
