Researchers from Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) have established clear relationships between different personality patterns of patients with Attention Deficit Disorder and Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and disorder subtypes that these patients suffer. The results of this study, published in the journal Psicothema have great clinical utility. On the one hand, helped to validate the subgroups of ADHD and, secondly, to orient differently the supportive psychological treatment advised to these patients depending on the subgroup they belong.
