Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) hosted a successful panel discussion on researchers of the Miguel Servet program, moderated by the center's director, Dr. Joan Comella, in which Dr. Jesus Rey, researcher at the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC), had an important role exposing the key monitoring and evaluation of contracts for researchers in this system. In a roundtable format also participated Mr. Rafael de Oleza, Legal Adviser of the information and innovation Program in Health Sciences, who treated the development of a research career in the Department of Health: stabilization and enhancement program. Dr. Ricard Pujol, ICS research consultant, explained the research career of the medical staff of the ICS and Dr. Antoni Andreu, coordinator of the CTE HR from Institute of Health Carlos III (ISCIII) has reviewed the management of the Miguel Servet program from the perspective of ISCIII. Dr. Carles Miquel, PRICS coordinator, who was present at the hall, has also represented the Department of Health and clarified several issues to attendees. Dr. Carmen Espejo, Miguel Servet researcher at the Clinical Neuroimmunology group at VHIR has shared her experience and perspective as a member of the roundtable. But it was not the only Miguel Servet to do so, since many of the attendees from various Catalan biomedical research centers have intervened, asking questions and giving their opinion on the situation.
