From 13th to 16th of November, Vall d’Hebron Hospital hosted the third winter annual meeting of the International PhD School "http://www.uni-giessen.de/cms/fbz/fb11/forschung/graduierte/promise" PROMISE, funded by the German Research Foundation (FDG) and executed by Justus Liebig Giessen University and VHIR, also with the participation of CCRC (Dra. Lina Badimón). The responsibles of this school are Dr. Klaus Preisner, from the German counterpart, and Dr. David García-Dorado, from the Spanish one. The meeting included two courses directed by researchers of the Cardiovasclar Diseases Group to teachers and German students.Among the activities, a course about magnetic resonance spectroscopy, led by Dr. Ignasi Barba, and another one about the analysis of mitochondrial function, led by Dra. Marisol Ruiz-Meana. November 15 and 16 were celebrated the scientific sessions with presentations of the different groups. Dr. Julián Aragonés was the visiting lecturer of this third annual meeting.
