She raised 5,000€ with a charity race to support research in organ transplantation, led at VHIR by Dr. Charco

The TV show "http://www.rtve.es/television/20131203/carreras-solidarias-repor/809642.shtml" 'Repor' is dedicated this week to charity races, an increasingly widespread activity in Spain over the last years. With this race, she raised 5,000 euros for the Digestive Transplants group, led by Dr. Ramon Charco at Vall d’Hebron Institute of Research (VHIR). The aim of María José was not only raising money, but also to raise awareness about the importance of voluntary organ donation. At the end of the report, doctors Itxarone Bilbao and Marina Queralt talk about the research lines carried out in the institute in the field of organ transplantation and their last advances.
