15/07/2010 Vall d' Hebron presents research activities and bets for innovation and fundraising 15/07/2010 Vall d'Hebron Research Institute presented the report of research activities 2009/10 at the conference’s room at 10th floor in the Hospital General area. The first speaker who initiated the act was the manager of the hospital, Dr. Jose Luis de Sancho. He made a positive evaluation of the work done the last year and explained the clues of the situations that affect collaterally to the Institute in scientific, social and labour topics. Dr Jose Luis de Sancho also talked about the state of negotiations of becoming a CERCA centre. Secondly, Dr Joan X. Comella, VHIR's director, went further explaining results after a year of research activities. He reported scientific production, which follows an appropriate way, and also reported about new projects, like EATRIS, the situation of the building Collserola, and the restructuration of units, with innovation, communication and fundraising as strategic incorporations.
