For two days, communication professionals from health and research institutions, experts in the field of health communication and specialized journalists from around the world will meet to debate the key issues of the present and the future.

On October 24 and 25, 2024, we will celebrate the 1st International Health Communication Congress, organized by Vall d'Hebron and with the support of the European University Hospital Alliance (EUHA). For two days, communication professionals from health and research institutions, experts in the field of health communication and specialized journalists from around the world will meet to debate the key issues of the present and the future of communication in this area. Topics such as the communication of Health Policies, the relationship between health institutions and their professionals with the media and journalists, the creation of new stories and narratives, fake news, the role of Artificial Intelligence in communication strategies, communication crises or the role of patients in the dissemination of content.

This international meeting, with the participation of speakers from all over the world and open, in person and electronically to attendees from anywhere on the planet, is aimed at communication and marketing professionals, journalists, communication students, staff from the world of health , whether in its care or research aspect, and all citizens who have an interest in this area. The conclusions of the congress will be used to draw up the Health Communication Guide that the EUHA will share with the European Union.
