Vall d'Hebron Pulmonologist Iñigo Ojanguren chosen the young specialist with the best resume of the country. This recognition is awarded by the Spanish Society of Pneumology. Dr. Ojanguren was chosen among specialists from around the country.

The Spanish Society of Pneumology (SEPAR) has decided to award Dr. Ojanguren as the young specialist with the best resumé of the country in this field. That is why on June 2nd, Dr. Ojanguren was responsible for exposing the Youth Lesson in the http://www.congresosepar2017.com/separ2017 50th Congress of SEPAR in Madrid.Doctors nominated had to meet requirements such as having less than 36 years, have relevant publications in scientific journals and have doctoral thesis, among others.After evaluating all the candidates, the Scientific and Congress Committee determined that separating the deserving award was for the pneumologist of Vall d'Hebron. In his exhibition at the conference he spoke of advances in respiratory immunoallergic diseases.Dr. Ojanguren graduated from the University of Navarra but he moved in 2009 to the Hospital Vall d'Hebron to specialize in Pneumology. Besides working as a doctor at the Pneumology Service of the Hospital, he is also a researcher in this field at http://en.vhir.org/portal1/homepage.asp Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR), a group that is led by Dr. Maria Jesús Cruz and Jaume Ferrer. Mainly specializes in the study of bronchial asthma and interstitial lung diseases. He currently continues his training between VHIR and the Hô,pital du Sacré-Coeur, in Montreal (Canada).
