16/11/2015 VHIR is awarded by the Catalan Association of Neuromuscular Diseases 16/11/2015 The association has given the FEM Pinya award to the Institute, for its commitment with research in neuromuscular diseases. The Catalan Association of Neuromuscular Diseases has given the FEM Pinya award to the Vall d'Hebron Institute of Research (VHIR) for its commitment with research on these diseases. The ceremony, that arrived to the 5th edition, was hosted one day before the National Day for people with neuromuscular diseases.VHIR's assistant director, Dr. Fátima Núñez, and Dr. Francina Munell, researcher of the http://www.vhir.org/portal1/grup-equip.asp?idioma=1&s=recerca&contentid=9077&t=Neurologia%20Pedi%E0trica Pediatric Neurology group, collected the award. The association also awarded Dr. Colomer, from Sant Joan de Déu Hospital, and the volunteer Carmen Caja.The ceremony award took place at the Casa del Mar, in Barcelona, on November 14th.
