14/11/2018 VHIR has celebrated the Admin Retreat 2018 14/11/2018 The Admin Retreat was a day full of activities in which the majority of the members of the VHIR structure and research support units participated. Last November 9th, the Salesian Residence Martí Codolar hosted VHIR's Admin Retreat, a day full of activities in which the majority of the members of the structure and research support units participated.First, there was a dynamic welcome with music and choreography and the organizing team presented the retreat. Next, a talk on team-building was held by Ms. Patricia Curty who gave way to the first activity, organized by the "OK Team", which consisted of different dynamics to develop cooperation within each team. It should be mentioned that the teams were formed by members of the different units of the VHIR structure. After the coffee break, the score of the first activity was announced and the second activity of the day was proposed, consisting of a mobile video recording aimed at promoting research at VHIR. They had to use the objects contained in a box they had chosen previously by order of the first test score. To encourage the activity, a small video, which Màrius Serra -VHIR ambassador- had dedicated to VHIR, was projected. After lunch, there was a video presentation contest in "Got Talent" format, where the jury was the organizing team of the retreat. Three prizes were awarded and the best video was voted by the public. After the awards ceremony, the VHIR management and the organizing committee brought the meeting to a close.Although early in the morning the weather was not so good, activity 1 was finally performed in the gardens. The perception of the organizers is that the whole day went very well. The general assessment received by the participants and the satisfaction survey show the day was very positively valued. Furthermore, the T-shirts with the logo of the retreat that were given to all the participants were also very well received and the participants had a good time doing both team cooperation activities and the corporate video (recording and during the presentations). From the organizing team, the participants' motivation and their enthusiasm and creativity to record the videos are valued very positively. Of note is the high level of originality of all the videos that were presented, which were very creative and addressed different aspects of research at VHIR. So much so that selecting the winners was a difficult task. The organization would like to thank all the participants for their high level of involvement during the day, as well as all the structure staff who were on call in the Units to make this Admin Retreat possible for the rest of their coworkers.
