29/09/2011 VHIR participates in the III MTN Workshop 29/09/2011 On 27 and 28 September took place in one of the rooms of the FC Barcelona Camp Nou stadium the III MuscleTech Workshop, which aims to improve the quality of life for people with muscle diseases and reduce the number of sports injuries with improved tools for tendinopathies. The network, called 'Muscle injuries and repair: current trends in research', was attended by over 60 specialists from different fields, and led by a member of FC Barcelona's medical services, Dr. Gil Rodas. Among the experts were researchers from Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR): Dr. Cesar Garcia Fontecha, Dr. José Luis Peiró, Dr. Vicenç Martínez Ibáñez and Dr. Mario Marotta, the three members of the bioengineering, orthopedics and surgery in pediatrics group, and Dr. Manuel Roig and Dr. Francina Munell, members of the pediatric neurology group.
