VHIR receives a delegation of the AECC

Dr. Joan Comella, director of Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR), and Isabel Oriol, president of the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC), have chaired a working meeting that has taken place on November 23 at VHIR's Collserola Buildingthe during which were presented the main lines of cancer research currently being developed at Vall d'Hebron University Hospital, as well as the translational research European project EATRIS. The meeting was also attended by Pilar Perote, vice president of AECC Foundation, Isabel Orbe, scientific director, and Dolores de Oya, president of AECC in Barcelona. Representing VHIR, in addition to its director, attended the heads of the main lines of cancer research at Vall d'Hebron University Hospital. After the meeting, the delegation of the AECC has visited some of the laboratories and facilities for research groups associated with cancer.
