VHIR's CRIPS group awarded at ESICM 2011

The Clinical Research/Innovation in Pneumonia & Sepsis group (CRIPS) at Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) participated this week in the 24th annual congress of the European Society of Intensive Care (ESICM 2011) which took place in Berlin. Crips presented 9 abstracts, one of which, a cooperative study of recruitment of patients and scientific exploitation, has been awarded a research prize and one of the four awards for best abstract. Crips, directed by Dr. Jordi Rello, has been part of the Steering Committee of this work with 1.156 patients from 162 ICUs in 24 countries called Eurobact.
