24/05/2011 VHIR’s delegation visits Roche to advance cooperation between both entities 24/05/2011 A delegation of the Vall d Hebron, Institut de Recerca (VHIR), led by its director, Dr. Joan Comella, visited the facilities of Roche Diagnostics SL, where have met with representatives of management of the company in Sant Cugat del Vallès, Barcelona. The meeting, which began with a welcome by Jaime Vives, CEO of Roche Diagnostitcs, had two main themes. VHIR’s delegation was completed by Dr. David García-Dorado, president of the Internal Scientific Committee, Francesc Iglesias, director of innovation, Raquel Egea, coordinator of innovation, Lluís Masso, manager, and Fatima Núñez, director of the Scientific-Technical Unit Support (UCTS). By Roche, also were Jordi Fernández-Capo, Director Tissue Diagnostics, Antonio Molina, Director Near Patient Testing, Dr. Artur Palet, Director Business Development, and Jordi Ximenis, Area Manager Centralized Diagnostics.
