Here you have VHIR's new website. During the last few months it has been a job that consisted, first in a new design, and later a complete change of the Content Management System (CMS) to work more easily, taking advantage of all the power in our database adding flexibility and immediacy of the new content manager.Related to design, we have made a commitment to give more relevance to images, advances of our researchers and the key issues of our institute in the five main features in the Home, as well as make an easier and more understandable navigation, grouping concepts and rearranging sections.As always, the research areas and groups are essential, the backbone of the web, with information about what they are and what they do. In this sense, one of the main innovations of this website is that the staff within each research group each have a personal profile where appears the basic data of the person, one photo and short and long resume.As you can see, one of the new sections is the Clinical Trials, which show the full potential of our hospital, which is a leader in Catalonia and Spain and even accumulate more activity than the sum of all hospitals of some neighboring countries. This is the first research center of our country to create a special section about this key issue.We also have improved the innovation section, now called Business Collaboration, as well as all the Teaching and Scientific Services. You can also find all necessary information on how to help us do research linking from the Home on the tab of donations.And all without losing the feeling that it is an active page, which is updated not every day but even every minute, thanks to the news and activities sections, that reflect everything that makes our institution and its research staff.We hope that the new style will be attractive and please we ask you to be patient.
