Using computed tomography (CT), with or without contrast, it is possible to perform an accurate and safe detection of the disease without the need for biopsies and avoiding the limitations of other non-invasive diagnostic tools.

So far, 240 volunteers have been recruited within all the centres set to join adolescents’ clinical trial (named HH3) to test the efficacy, tolerability, and safety of the BIMERVAX® COVID-19 vaccine in adolescents aged 12 to 17.

"Patients with familial hypomagnesemia with hypercalciuria and nephrocalcinosis present miRNA profiles in urinary extracellular vesicles associated with disease progression" was the awarded work.

La selecció d’imatges que forma la mostra ‘L’altra mirada de la recerca’ ha estat escollida entre les millors fotografies dels 11 anys del Concurs de Fotografia Científica del Campus Vall d’Hebron.

The artwork Pioneres, presented on the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, is almost 40 metres long and portrays nine women, from Ancient Greece to the present day, who have contributed to the progress of sciences in the field of health.

El grup de treball LGTBQIA+ del VHIR es va crear el 28 de juny de 2023, dia de l'Orgull LGTBQIA+, com a resultat d'una campanya de sensibilització institucional que s'havia dut a terme un any abans i que va recollir més de 100 missatges i propostes per promoure la inclusió i la visibilitat de la diversitat en la recerca en salut.
