University Master’s Degree in Translational Biomedical Research (VHIR-UAB)

As a University Research Institute attached to the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), the Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) delivers the University Masters in Translational Biomedical Research, an official programme which provides access to doctorate level studies and which has been designed to create translational researchers of excellence, capable of contributing to transforming the knowledge from basic research into clinical applications that will be beneficial to patient health.

Since 2014, around 50 students join the VHIR every academic year to study this master’s degree and do their practical projects and master’s final project

Master’s in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Biomedicine (UAB)

Since the 2012-2013 academic year, the VHIR has also participated in the UAB’s Master’s in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Biomedicine, teaching the optional module Transversal Competencies for Translational Research in Human Pathologies, which is taught at the Vall d'Hebron Campus. Many students on this master’s also do their practical projects and master’s final projects using the VHIR laboratories.
