My professional work has focused on the study of neurodevelopmental disorders across the lifespan, primarily attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and autism spectrum disorders (ASD), and depression more resistant to treatment. In this sense, I am the coordinator of the working group on neurodevelopmental disorders throughout life of the Spanish Society of Psychiatry and Mental Health (SEPSM) since 2022 and co-chairman of the ADHD network of the European College of Neuropsychopharmacology (ECNP ). I have published more than 300 articles in SCI journals (H-index: 66 and 24,660 citations) derived from multiple competitive grants at international and national level as principal investigator. I have also carried out different studies on digital health or eHealth and developed mobile applications in mental health such as gestioemocional.catsalut.cat together with CatSalut. At the national level, I coordinate the program of psychosomatic disorders, anxiety and impulse control of the Centro de Investigación Biomédica en Red Salud Mental (CIBERSAM).I actively collaborate with different associations of people and family members with mental disorders in the fight against the stigma of mental disorders and their scientific dissemination.
