Vall d'Hebron is one of the centers that coordinate this network, which so far has enabled the detection of high-risk genetic alterations and the provision of personalized treatments that have already achieved remission in cases with very few therapeutic alternatives.

The project’s 4th annual meeting was recently held as part of the Fortalece–Salud programme of the Carlos III Health Institute.

The projects, selected under the 2026 Health Research and CaixaImpulse Health Innovation calls, address topics ranging from new therapies for childhood neurological disorders and Parkinson’s disease to the treatment of mitochondrial diseases and cancer.
