I am a psychologist specialized in clinical psychology. I graduated with honors and received a special mention in the National End of Career Award. I did the PIR residency in clinical psychology at the Hospital Universitari Vall d’Hebron. I have a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the UAB with a Cum Laude qualification, obtaining the Extraordinary Phd Award. I have been adjunct professor at the Faculty of Psychology at the UAB and accredited tutor for clinical psychology residents at the hospital. I am currently adjunct professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the UAB.
My clinical work and research activity focuses on the area of neurodevelopmental disorders such as fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FAS), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and other genetically based cognitive-behavioral disorders. In this area, our unit is part of the XUEC (Clinical Expertise Units in Minority Cognitive Behavioral Diseases of CatSalut) and the ERN (European Reference Network for complex diseases). I am a researcher in the Psychiatry, Mental Health and Addictions Group of the Vall d'Hebron Research Institute, a CIBERSAM member (Centro de Investigación Biomédica en Red de Salud Mental) and have published in scientific journals with impact factor.
