Application of MR techniques in the study of seizures

The objective of this research line is to evaluate the structural changes that occur in the brain after or during epileptic seizures using different MRI techniques, as well as assess the role of MRI in the etiological diagnosis and location of the epileptogenic focus and analyze its influence on the treatment and evolution of these patients.

Application of magnetic resonance imaging techniques to the study of the pituitary gland

The aim of the line is to evaluate the usefulness of MRI in the study of pituitary tumors, diagnosis and follow-up. The study focuses on the radiological characteristics of tumors that can predict their prognosis. Advances in neuroimaging and behavior of pituitary tumors specifically of macroadenomas are also evaluated, focusing on the radiological characteristics and their potential use with genetic and molecular markers, radiomic ACROFAST project which is a multicenter project.
