Líneas de investigación Impact of genetic testing in hereditary cancer syndromes (Projecte IMASS). In collaboration with three other units, this project is led by Vall d’Hebron University Hospital. IP: Judith Balmaña Gelpí Efficacy and comparison of two different molecular strategies for screening of individuals at risk of Lynch syndrome. IP: Judith Balmaña Gelpí Identification of mutations in the ATM gene in families with hereditary breast families and no mutation identified in the BRCA genes. We are co-investigators of this project with Orland Díez and Sara Gutiérrez, from the genetic laboratory. IP: Judith Balmaña Gelpí Extension and validation of the PREMM1,2 model and validation of other predictive models for Lynch syndrome. We are collaborating with Dr Sapna Syngal, from the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Ewout Steyerberg, from the Erasmus Medical Center, in this ongoing project.
