Línies de recerca Development of a prevalence table of BRCA mutations in the Spanish population. In collaboration with Orland Díez and Sara Gutiérrez, the project is ongoing with the aim of developing an easy-to-use tool for prediction of BRCA mutation carriers in our country and has been funded by a private grant. IP: Judith Balmaña Gelpí Identification of novel targets in basal-like breast cancer. In collaboration with Dr. Judy Garber, at Dana Farber Cancer Institute, we are working on the development of a new clinical trial with specific target therapies for basal-like breast cancer. Therapies would include cisplatin and a PARP- inhibitor. A Susan Komen Grant has been applied to support the basic and clinical research in this field. IP: Judith Balmaña Gelpí Impact of genetic testing in hereditary cancer syndromes (Projecte IMASS). In collaboration with three other units, this project is led by Vall d’Hebron University Hospital.
