Gara Arteaga Henriquez I´m Psychiatrist, Doctor in Medicine (LMU, Munich; Magna Cum Laude); since the beginning of my career I´ve been interested in the field of Immunopsychiatry and, more specific, in the search for biological markers aimed at improving the prognosis of several psychiatric conditions and also, reducing stigma. I´ve done several research fellows at different European reference centers (e.g., Erasmus MC in Rotherdam, the Netherlands, UMCG in Groningen, the Netherlands, UKM in Münster, Germany...), the last one as postdoctoral researcher at the National Center for Register-Based Research in Aahrus (Denmark), I have also been involved in different international projects focused in the field, and have been awarded with different research prizes related to my research in the field. I´m currently leading the Immunopsychiatry Research Line at the Hospital.
