I currently work as an International Pre-award Project Manager at the International Projects Unit of the Vall d’Hebron Research Institute (VHIR). I provide support and advice to researchers in preparing proposals for competitive international funding calls, strengthening the leadership of VHIR, the Catalan Health Institute (ICS) and Vall d’Hebron University Hospital in the field of biomedical research.

My role focuses on project management, strategic guidance and dissemination of funding opportunities, offering tailored advice according to the requirements of each programme and the needs of the research groups. I am also involved in budget preparation, coordination with international partners, and technical and administrative review of proposals, fostering participation in programmes such as Horizon Europe, IHI, Digital Europe and ERA-Net, as well as in other public and private international initiatives.

Before joining VHIR, I worked as a Project and Grants Manager at CIMNE (International Centre for Numerical Methods in Engineering), where I was responsible for identifying and disseminating funding opportunities, advising research groups, and managing competitive funding programmes.

Previously, I developed my career in organisations such as Grup SIFU and various private social foundations, gaining experience in the administrative and financial management of projects funded by public and private sources.

I hold a university degree in Business Studies and advanced training in Administration, Finance and Marketing, complemented by a strong focus on the management of social and research projects.
