I am a Pre-award manager at the VHIR National Projects Unit. With a solid background in biological sciences, I have developed extensive experience in both basic and applied research, particularly in the field of biomedicine. I have practical experience with a wide range of experimental techniques, as well as a strong capacity for coordination and management of research projects funded by both public and private sources.

I am a graduate in Biochemistry from the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso (Chile), with a University Diploma in Public Health from the Universidad de los Andes (Chile) and a Master in Translational Medicine from the University of Barcelona (Spain). In addition, I have specializations in Clinical Trial Assistant (CTA) (Vall d'Hebron University Hospital), and in Pharma and Biotech Project Management (La Salle Campus Barcelona).

Previously, I have developed my professional career as a Lab Manager and Research Assistant in academic and biomedical research environments. In these positions, I participated in the operational management of laboratories, the coordination of experimental activities, the implementation of good scientific practices and collaboration in research projects focused on biomedicine and public health. This experience allowed me to acquire a solid understanding of scientific processes, as well as strengthen my skills in technical leadership, organization and interdisciplinary teamwork.

Currently, I work as Project Manager at the Pre-Award Projects Unit of the Competitive Research Directorate of the Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR). In this role, I participate in the planning, coordination and management of competitive funding proposals for national research projects, offering technical, strategic and administrative support to scientific groups during the preparation and submission phases.

My career combines scientific training and management experience, which allows me to integrate an analytical and rigorous vision with a results-oriented approach. My objective is to contribute to the strengthening of the research excellence of the VHIR, promoting the attraction of resources and the development of projects that generate a positive impact on health and biomedical innovation.
