Pediatric Surgery Trainee at Hospital Vall d'Hebron (2003-2008), being subsequently recruited as staff surgeon. Until 2016, she develops her professional activity in oncologic surgery and thoracic surgery. Since 2016, combines her work as a cancer surgeon with giving support to the neonatal and liver surgery units. Among other awards she has received the best oral communication of a trainee prize at the XLV Congress of the Spanish Society of Pediatric Surgery (2006), 1st poster prize at the 8th European Congress of Paediatric Surgeons (2007), best oral communication prize in Urology at the XLVI Congress of the Spanish Society of Pediatric Surgery (2007), best oral communication prize at the XLVI Congress of the Spanish Society of Pediatric Surgery (2007) and the best poster prize at the 53º Congress of the Spanish Society of Pediatric Surgery (2014).
