Intraperitoneal injection of ID8 ovarian cancer cells
AT163 Xenograft model of pharynx and Larynx Cancer Mice (Mus-musculus); NOD SCID gamma NMRI-nu Oncology Oncology & Inmuno Oncology, pharmacology
Cancer cells will be injected subcutaneously since early tumor formation
AT093 Subcutaneous Xenografts of human Cancer cell lines and PDX Mice (Mus musculus) Athymic nu/nu
NOD SCID
Oncology Different type of human cancers, including colorectal, breast, prostate, brain, lung and pancreatic, Ewing's sarcoma, glioblastoma
Subcutaneous implantation of tumor cells for efficacy, biodistribution, PK/PD and toxicity assays
AT092 Subcutaneous Xenograft Tumor model Mice (Mus musculus) NMRI-Foxn1nu/nu Oncology Pancreatic, lung, colon cancer and glioblastom
Subcutaneous injection of cancer cells: pancreatic (BxPC3, MIA PaCa-2), lung (A549), colon (SW480), glioblastom ( U251, T98G)
AT091 Subcutaneous Xenograft of Melanoma Mice (Mus musculus) B6.Cg-Braftm1Mmcm Ptentm1Hwu Tg(Tyr-cre/ERT2)13Bos/BosJ, C57BL/6, BALB/c nude Oncology Melanoma
Tumor cells will be inoculated subcutaneous in the caudal dorsal flank.
AT081 Primary tumor of Sarcoma Mice (Mus musculus) SCID Oncology Sarcoma
Primary tumor generated from cell lines.
AT082 Rat model of transient Coronary Occlusion Rat (Rattus norvegicus) Sprague-Dawley Cardiovascular diseases Myocardium infarct
The coronary artery will be identified and blocked using a 4/0 silk, placed 1 mm distal to the tip of the left atrium. All animals will undergo 60 minutes of coronary occlusion followed by 24 or 21 days of reperfusion. Function is assessed by echocardiography.
AT155 Right Heart Failure mouse model Mice (Mus musculus) C57BL/6J Cardiovascular diseases Right heart failure
Model generated by administration of monocrotaline pyrrole and aorto-caval shunt surgery
AT083 Royal College of Surgeons (RCS) rat model of Retinal Degeneration Rat (Rattus norvegicus) rdy-/p+ Diseases of the sense organs (skin, eyes and ears) Pigmentary retinosis
The RCS rat strain provides a model of inherited outer retinal degenerative diseases. At 4 weeks of age, the RCS rat retina appears normal. However, by 8 weeks of age, and under low light conditions, RCS rats have impaired retinal function and disorganized and thinned retina. Standard lighting conditions accelerated the degenerative process while low lighting conditions slow the process thereby enabling a broader window for therapeutic intervention. The RCS rat strain is a good model for evaluating efficacy of gene based therapies and/or retinal prosthesis devices. July 2019. Volume 60, Issue 9. OPEN ACCESS. ARVO Annual Meeting Abstract. July 2019. Characterization of the Royal College of Surgeon’s Rat Model Endpoints for Use in Preclinical Ophthalmic Studies Justin Prater; Vicky Peele; David Culp; Brian C Gilger. Availability: Cryopreserved
AT084 Secondary Cholestasis due to bile duct ligation (BDL) model Rat (Rattus norvegicus) Sprague-Dawley-OFA Liver Diseases Hepatic cirrhosis
With this model, cirrhosis is caused by biliary poisoning. At 2 weeks the model has mild portal hypertension. The appearance of the animal at 28 days is characterized by jaundice, dark urine and, in 20% of the rats, by some degree of ascites. The model will stop at 4 weeks, at which time the rat has been shown to have established cirrhosis.
